Bruce Easton

Bruce Easton (RMS)

Bruce joined RMS in early 2008 and has more than 40 years of experience in the plantation forest industry in Australasia. In his current role, he is responsible for the operation of the company’s international portfolio in the Asia Pacific Region - New Zealand, Australia and selected Asian countries. His past experience covered general management roles in both plantation management and the wood processing industries culminating in his role as General Manager Operations for Carter Holt Harvey Forests, managing 120 staff and 2,500 contractors covering more than 280,000 hectares of timberland. Bruce spent a number of years based in Hong Kong as the Director of Strategy for International Paper and Carter Holt Harvey working on business development and acquisitive growth in the Russian Far East, Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand. He is a professionally trained New Zealand Forest Ranger and Forester and has completed postgraduate studies in Forest Engineering at the University of Canterbury, Resource Management at Lincoln University and Financial Management with the New Zealand Institute of Management. He is a member of RMS’s Board of Managers and Investment Committee.
